Perform day to day housekeeping functions and specific tasks as assigned to maintain the appearance & cleanliness of the property.

  • Perform day to day housekeeping functions and specific tasks as assigned
  • Clean, wash, polish, sanitize, deodorize an disinfect all areas and items in the facility including furnishings, fixtures, trash bins, windows, mirrors, floors, carpets, walls, ceilings, bathrooms, etc. using proper cleaning and disinfecting solutions and procedures
  • Ensure that work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, comfortable and attractive manner, clearly marked with caution or safety signs, as required
  • Ensure that work areas are free of all hazardous objects
  • Ensure that all tools and supplies are properly stored at all times
  • Ensure that established Universal Precautions and infection control, isolation, fire, safety and sanitation practices and procedures are maintained and followed when performing housekeeping duties
  • Promptly report all hazardous conditions and equipment to the Housekeeping Supervisor

To prepare food in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, the facilities policies and procedures and as may be directed by the Executive Chef.

Cook’s responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve food and meals in accordance with planned menu and established portion control procedures
  • Assist in ensuring proper temperature, quality and appearance of food being served
  • Proper storage of raw and leftover foods
  • Proper Knife skills
  • Assist and direct the daily or scheduled cleaning duties
  • Perform all daily tasks in accordance with established Universal Precautions and sanitary, safety and infection control policies and procedures
  • Ensure that the department and all food storage and/or work areas are maintained in a clean and safe manner
  • Ensure that the equipment and supplies are properly maintained and arranged

  • Perform minor fixes inside residents units, including but not limited to: changing lightbulbs & furnace filters, repairing of appliances, hanging pictures, moving of furnature

The Montecito Santa Fe is a resort-style continuing care retirement community. We offer independent living, assisted living, and memory care (Fall 2020). The concierge position is a front of the house position that requires good communication skills and an upbeat, friendly demeanor.

Receptionist Responsibilities:

  • Answer telephone calls and take messages or forward calls
  • Put in work orders
  • Enter food orders into POS system
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, guest suite stays and maintain resident directory
  • Greet and welcome residents, clients, and other visitors
  • Ensure guests sign in
  • Copy, file, and maintain paper or electronic documents
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail
  • Perform other duties as assigned by different departments
  • Develop and maintain rapport with personnel
  • Ensure that the Front desk is maintained in a clean and safe manner
